Global Call Group partners with Agent of Change Foundation to help low-income families stay connected through stable home internet access.
In Hong Kong, digital services, online learning, remote work and e-government services are becoming part of everyday life. Stable home internet access is no longer just a convenience. It is a foundation for learning, communication and social participation.
Global Call Group and Agent of Change Foundation have launched the Low-income Families Network Support Programme, inviting corporate clients and SME partners to provide 4G SIM-card routers and two years of unlimited-data home Wi-Fi internet service to families in need.
Programme Background
Although internet access is common in Hong Kong, some students, elderly people and low-income households still face unstable connectivity due to service costs, device limitations or challenging home environments.
This form of digital exclusion can affect learning progress, social connection and access to essential information and services.
Programme Mission
The programme connects corporate resources with real community needs through a practical and measurable ESG action. Companies can support beneficiary families through direct sponsorship or by subscribing to a designated monthly service plan.

- Low-income families with children
- Subdivided-unit households
- Single-parent families

Three Key Focus Areas
- Online Learning for Students

Helping elderly people and vulnerable groups stay connected with family, friends, public services and community support.

Why This ESG Action Works for SMEs
For many SMEs, ESG does not need to begin with a costly transformation project. Supporting stable home internet access for families in need is clear, practical, community-focused and measurable.
Participating enterprises can include the initiative in ESG, CSR, customer communication, employee engagement and brand storytelling.
About Agent of Change Foundation
Agent of Change Foundation was originally founded to focus on poverty alleviation through the trading of quality everyday goods at an affordable price. However, we realize that there is only so much we can do as a single small organization, and thus we pivoted to an advocacy and empowerment organization.
As evident in our name, our purpose is to inspire and empower more Agents of Change, underlying our belief in the collective power of everyday people, and that social progress should not be monopolized by or outsourced to certain groups – we should be the change we want to see in the world.
We can, and we must.
Our organization objectives are as follows:
- Empathy and Compassion Education – To put the heart and care back into people, to help them see the needs of others instead of focused on their own.
- Expanding Horizons – Often, especially for young people, the inability to see others is not a matter of negligence but genuine ignorance. Hence one of our objectives is to expand the horizons of our beneficiaries, so that when they know more and better, they can think and act better.
- Lowering Barrier to Actions – It is not sufficient to just have heart and passion, as agency is reflected through consistent actions, and therefore one of our focuses is to help people take their first step, either through skill enablement, or providing the platform to act, or building a like-minded community for mutual support.
Key project highlights for 2025:
- Project Pass Around – Community kindness walks
- Farmunity – Community service project with secondary school students
- Project BRIDGE – Ethnic minorities community engagement empowerment program
- GOOD VIBES MONTH – Mental wellness program for secondary school students
- Digital literacy workshops for students and parents
- “Hey Zero” anti-school bullying forum theatre program
- “Embrace Emotions” youth mental wellness interactive theatre program
- “Relationship Restorer” family relationship interactive theatre program
